**Purpose of the position**:
Digital Marketing Specialists possess the expertise to navigate and leverage the vast digital landscape effectively. They understand the complexities of online channels, algorithms, and consumer behaviour, allowing businesses to reach their target audiences more efficiently. By utilizing their social media marketing and data analysis skills, digital marketing specialists help companies increase brand visibility, drive targeted traffic, and generate leads, ultimately contributing to business growth and success in digital marketing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop effective digital media strategies that align with the company’s goals and vision.
- Create websites, blogs, animated videos, articles and other digital content to increase customer engagement
- Promote the company’s brand by creating visual concepts and establishing an online presence.
- Create and monitor Google marketing campaigns across social media and online platforms.
- Analyze data, generate reports and provide insight to improve marketing operations.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create engaging display advertisements.
- Oversee daily social media and search engine optimization audits (SEO) to maintain best practices.

**Education and Experience**
- Post-Secondary diploma or degree in marketing.
- Minimum two years of proven work experience as a Digital Media Specialist
- Certifications in Google AdWords and Google Analytics are required.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Hands-on experience in Social Pilot, Trello and other digital marketing software
- Knowledge of basic HTML and web publishing
- Quality content generation and copywriting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to use research and insights to generate effective campaign and content ideas
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM/PPC marketing
- Knowledge of social media marketing, channel marketing and/or marketing campaign management

**Job Type**: Part-time
