**CNC Machine Operator | Windsor, ON**

**Job Title**: CNC Machine Operator

**Major Intersection**: Twin Oaks Dr & Lauzon Pkwy

**Compensation**: $25-30/hr.

**Shift Timings**:Day shift/ Max 55hrs. per week (Overtime provided)

**Working Days**:Monday - Friday

**Anticipated Start Date**: ASAP

**Responsibilities**
- Interpret engineering drawings, procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of

finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements
- Provide assistance in planning the production cycle in order to set and achieve optimal

production targets
- Continually maintain the CNC programming database
- Troubleshoot and diagnose common CNC problems
- Closely monitor machines for signs of problems while ensuring output is meeting set

specifications
- Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control, quality and other shop

personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
- Liaise with management to identify areas of inefficiency
- Verify dimensions of machined parts or tooling using micrometers, Vernier’s, calipers, height

gauges or other specialized measuring instruments
- Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports

**Job Qualifications**
- Blue print reading & on the machine programing
- Machining: weldments, plate work and small details
- 2.5D machining only
- Fanuc / Heidenhain / HAAS controllers
- Overhead crane use (Prefer)
- Reading / Writing / Edit G-Code
- Facing / drilling / tapping / reaming / boring / pockets / bosses / slots / keyways
- VMC's & HBM's
- Min 5 years’ experience machining weldments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Machine Operator: 5 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
