**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. As a CNC Machinist at Service Mold + Aerospace Inc., you will play a crucial role in producing intricate components that meet the rigorous standards of the aerospace sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce aerospace components according to specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure precise machining.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.
- Knowledge of Powermill software an asset.
- Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controller preferred.
- Knowledge of materials commonly used in aerospace manufacturing.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.
- Proven experience with CNC machining in an aerospace or precision engineering environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards.
- Must be available to work swing shifts.
- Criminal records check (police clearance) required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
