St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a **Part Time, Temporary, Educational Assistant 4 **for a work assignment at **Wild Rose Elementary School.**

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. As a precondition of employment, all potential new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (all recommended doses of a vaccine approved by Health Canada and recommended by Alberta Health Services). Exceptions will only be considered upon proof of a medical condition, or other protected ground under the Alberta Human Rights Act.

**Hours of Work**:27.5** **hrs. /week; 5.5 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Part Time, Temporary

**Hourly Rate**:$20.56 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

**Start Date**:Monday,** **August 28, 2023

**Deadline for Applications**:Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.

**Specific Needs/Requirements for this position**:

- Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred
- Providing translation for non-verbal students
- Standard First Aid & Level C CPR/AED Certification
- Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification
- Assisting with toileting and behaviours associated with emotional regulation
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team an asset
- Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset
- Experience implementing IPP goals and positive behavior support plan strategies an asset
