We are looking for a Production Graphics / Print Operator to join our team. You’ll be a key part of the team responsible for preparing the production graphic files and printing.

This position requires a self-motivated individual who has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong problem-solving skills, can work independently and be self-directed as well as work as part of a team.

**On any given day you’ll be doing one or a combination of these things**:

- Create artwork layout proofs for Sales
- Create customized software templates
- Create customer samples
- Prepare production graphic files for printing; UV inkjet, sublimation, digital printing, and engraving.
- Print paper and plastic products on digital printers.
- Prepare variable data name list files in excel for import.
- Name badge, signage, paper sheet assembly, taping, packaging and labelling.
- Colour profile and correct colours in the manufacturing process when needed.
- Adjust and maintain machines as required.
- Ensure that the quality of all work produced meets internal and customer standards.
- Help maintain a clean and well-organized manufacturing environment, assist with recycling.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Assist in other areas of the operations department as capacity requires (not limited to):

- Print metal, plastic and paper parts on small and large format digital printers and engravers.
- Metal preparation for printing (loading and peeling name badges)
- Name badge and signage assembly, taping, packaging and labelling.
- Doming
- Packing
- Inventory counts

**You Possess**:

- High school diploma / related post-secondary education
- Graphic design experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Corel Draw
- Knowledge of PDF and postscript files and PDF plug-ins
- High understanding of color management
- Ability to communicate well (written and oral) in English is required
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
- High attention to detail, efficient, independent, and organized.

**Salary**: Between $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

COVID-19 considerations:
Covid 19 Vaccination (2 doses) required for employment. Safety protocols in place.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
