**Job Details**

The Construction Project Manager is accountable for the success of all aspects of large commercial low voltage construction projects, from bidding and contract award through completion. Responsibilities include outlining and delegating tasks, creating timelines, estimating and adhering to costs, mitigating risks, and nurturing positive client relationships. The PM collaborates with all other departments within the organization, including purchasing, accounting, engineering, and safety as well as field supervision, general contractors, construction managers and inspectors. We are looking for a dynamic person to lead a crucial relationship between our field offices and our supplier base. As a Field Procurement / Project Manager, you will be the main procurement contact for your assigned region of 4-6 branch offices. You will support and lead the selection of 3rd party subcontractors and 3rd party suppliers used within your region. You will develop and lead cost savings initiatives with teamwork from both the Category Managers and the branch organization. Activities include supplier development, contract management, supplier relationships, price negotiations, working capital optimization and improve communication between the central procurement teams and the branch offices. This position is responsible for impacting annual spend between $40M - $80M from a supply base of 300-400 suppliers.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities and Tasks to Fulfill Duties**:
**Project & Account Management**

**Tasks**:

- Manage the overall schedule of events as well as milestones
- Oversee financial and labor tracking
- Nurture customer relations and manage customer expectations
- Manage change orders and their impact on the project progression
- Coordinate with Purchasing on cost effective materials with timely deliveries
- Oversee billing
- Effectively engage and collaborate with multiple office personnel on large projects

**Estimating**

**Tasks**:

- Determine materials take-off
- Collect enterprise input
- Review project scope and final bid
- Finalize the summary sheet

**Site Management**

**Tasks**:

- Visit jobsites
- Conduct job meetings
- Build trust with field staff
- Collaborate with site superintendents

**Scope of Role**:

- Manage large projects $6 Million and higher
- Manage multiple projects
- Expected revenue per year of $6 Million, generating $1-2 Million of new business a year

**Minimum Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree, preferably in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in construction or a closely related field

**Preferred Experience**
- Procurement experience with a focus on construction and/or HVAC equipment and services.
- Electrical industry / installation knowledge a plus.(i.e. Electrical Supervisor, Electrician, Estimator, etc)
