**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will:

- Manage the design, delivery, and implementation of large-scale and complex strategic data projects, analytics platforms, and various agile, business solutions
- Meet ministry business intelligence and data analytics needs and priorities
- Lead analytics services enhancements, while working with ministry and enterprise partners
- Manage enterprise-wide projects that may involve work with other ministries, jurisdictions, and the broader public sector.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Data Strategy Development and Management**:

- You know quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation techniques, including research design, data capture, data analysis, data interpretation, survey development, and risk management theories.
- You have knowledge of social and economic indicators and databases.
- You know strategic approaches to information management, business intelligence, and data analytics.
- You have expert knowledge of the role and use of business intelligence and data analytics in policy development, caseload forecasting, program planning, evaluation, and outcome measurement.
- You know and can use standard software programs and tools and statistical software packages for data management, manipulation, analysis, analytics, and data visualization.

**Leadership and Stakeholder Negotiations**:

- You have consultation, negotiation, and mentoring skills to champion and promote the development of strategies to improve the collection and access of client information.
- You can lead consultation and implement research initiatives with a range of stakeholders.
- You have partnership-building, influencing, and consensus-building skills to build partnerships with other research-conducting or sponsoring groups to further social services research efforts in the province.

**Project Planning and Management**:

- You can use advisory, facilitation, and cooperation skills to work with other branches, ministries, governments, central agencies, and academics to develop and implement research projects and initiatives.
- You know and have applied various project management methodologies, techniques, and control processes.
- You know and can use standard software programs and tools for project management and stakeholder engagement, collaboration, co-design/development, document management, and version control.

**Communication Skills**:

- You have communication, presentation, consulting, negotiating, and coaching skills.
- You can use presentation skills to clearly communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.
