**Position Summary**

The **Production and Packaging Lead** plays an important role in the operation of automated packaging machines. They assist in the preparation, packaging, and organization of compliance packaged medications. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and the hours are 2pm-10pm.

**Your Day to Day**:

- Adhere to all applicable policies, standards and procedures
- Maintain and monitor levels of government stock medication and machine consumables
- Complete appropriate automated packaging machine activities such as canister refills, STS tray preparation, paper or ribbon replacement, and other activities required to maintain optimal operating conditions.
- Troubleshoots any errors or alerts while running batches
- Maintain workflow and receipt of medication within prescribed timeline
- Receive and restock medications
- Prepare daily and weekly production reports
- Maintain stock levels and order when required
- Ensure area is clean and free of garbage and debris at all times
- Effectively mentor/train pharmacy team members as required

**What You Will Bring to The Team**:

- Pharmacy Assistant experience
- Ability to stand for periods of time as needed
- KROLL Pharmacy system experience
- Experience with PacMed and SynMed Systems an asset (specifically for production team)
- Compliance Packaging experience
- Experience in a long term care setting would be an asset
- Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Professional oral and written communication skills
