**SCOPE**:
The** Indigenous Responsible Gambling Coordinator** is to provide community awareness, education, prevention, and resource development for the benefit of all Indigenous women and their families in an effort to reduce the harm that is associated with problem gambling. The Gambling Coordinator will work in partnership with community agencies/services/organizations, to build capacity and to ensure that Indigenous Women and their families have access to resources and prevention strategies.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary diploma/degree in Social Sciences, Indigenous Studies, Women’s Studies with a minimum two (2) years’ work experience in community service delivery role.
- Excellent administrative/coordination duties.
- Excellent communication skills: written, oral, and computer.
- Ability to plan, organize and to manage time effectively.
- Highly motivated, ability to work with mínimal supervision and able to meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction and be able to improve performance through management feedback.
- Capacity to problem solve and to see different perspectives.
- Experience with project coordination.
- Experience in the delivery of programs and services.
- Knowledge of and relationships with other service agencies, ability to network and create/maintain these relationships.
- A cellular phone and internet access are required for this position.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible working from home arrangement if required. This may include a combination of virtual remote work in your home and in office arrangements. This will be based on operational needs and will be determined by the ONWA.
- Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Software, internet, and general office equipment.
- Ability to travel.
- Reliable vehicle, appropriate vehicle insurance coverage and valid Ontario “G” class driver’s license.
- Current, valid vulnerable sector criminal records check, reliable cellphone. Valid 1st Aid/CPR.
- Ability to speak an Indigenous Language is considered an asset.
