- Combination of required education and a minimum of 3-5 years related experience.
- Experience with a Student Information System at the elementary and secondary panels would be considered an

asset.
- Demonstrated ability to use personal computers and associated software, such as Microsoft products.
- Experience with file and data management (i.e. extracting, importing and manipulating data etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to use tact, discretion and maintain information in the strictest of confidence.

A. Job Identification:
Title: Student Information Systems Administrator

Immediate Supervisor: Supervisor, Student Information Systems

B. Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Student Information System, the Student Information System Administrator

will be responsible for supporting and training school staff in various areas within the student information system.

This position will also be responsible for the preparation of Ministry Student & Educator Ministry reporting, and

department data requests. Some travel to various schools or the Central Board Office in Kemptville may be

required. Some of these responsibilities, in broad terms, include but are not limited to the following:
C. Duties and Responsibilities:
**STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM**
- Support and train school staff in various areas within student information system according to Ministry Enrolment

Guidelines. This may include creating documentation/instructions (i.e. student registration, Safe Arrival, Topdesk,

suspension data, incident data, Diploma and SHSM, etc.)
- Ensure elementary/secondary/continuing education schools are setup annually with the student information

system such as support report cards, attendance, transportation, student data, integrations, scheduling etc.
- Responsible for acquiring OEN numbers for all students registered with the Catholic District School Board of
- Ability to import and export data between the Student Information System and Panorama (Health Unit data),

Student photos, ETMS, EQAO, OCAS and OUAC etc.
- Prepare various reports upon request (i.e. enrolment information, student information request etc.)

**MINISTRY STUDENT INFORMATION & EDUCATOR REPORTING**
- Prepare and submit elementary/secondary/Continuing Education OnSIS reporting ensuring that it meets all

Ministry guidelines and deadlines (i.e. extracting data files, correct data based on error reports etc.)
- Contact the school personnel with respect to data verification as needed.
- File all OnSIS supporting documentation for audit purposes.
- Liaison with Human Resources Department to complete educator data for OnSIS
- Assist with routine internal enrolment audits with schools to ensure compliance with board administrative

procedures, OnSIS requirements etc.

**OTHER**
- All other related duties as assigned by SIS Supervisor.

D. Qualifications:

- Post-Secondary Office Administration Diploma from a recognized community college.
- Combination of required education and a minimum of 3-5 years related experience.
