As a Contract Negotiator, you'll be the initial point of contact to review, edit and provide negotiation support to a variety of customer-facing agreements, as directed by the Negotiation Team's Manager(s). The Contract Negotiator will also be the primary point of contact for internal and external communications regarding the agreements. In addition to these primary duties, the Contract Negotiator maintains information within a contract management tracking database to streamline production and ensure prompt delivery of contractual documents.

**What you will do**:
**Collaborate with CDW teams in creating and delivering contractual documents to our customers.**
- Drafts, edits and negotiates NDAs, SOWs, amendments, and master agreements according to departmental contract negotiation guidelines and procedures
- Reviews RFX (RFP, RFQ, RFSQ, etc.) terms and conditions, and identifies issues
- Logs and tracks NDAs, SOWs, amendments, and other agreements within a contract management tracking database
- Provides training and guidance to Sales stakeholders regarding contract terms, contract review procedures, and negotiation strategies
- Provides training and guidance to coworkers on the customer contracts team regarding contract-related issues and procedures
- Addresses contract-related issues as they arise, with appropriate escalation
- Proposes and assists with the development of tools for the enhancement of contractual processes and documentation

**What we expect of you**:
**Must Have**
- 3+ years of business and/or legal experience with expertise in drafting, review, and negotiation of IT contracts, SOWs, and other related documents in French and English
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize and address both business and legal opportunities and risks
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a comprehensive command of legal terms and phrasing in both official languages
- Ability to effectively interact with coworkers at different levels of the organization and within different departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrable familiarity with IT products and services and customer contracts
- Fully bilingual in French & English

**Preferred Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in law (civil law preferred) and licensed with the Bar of Quebec, or contract negotiation experience in the province
- 3+ years of business and/or legal experience in government tendering and contracting processes
