**Overview**:
Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, this position is responsible and accountable for the overall direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned IT projects. The IT Project Coordinator develops the project plans, oversees project resources, and ensures the deliverables are on time and meet requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Accountability #1: Project Management**

Responsible for Project management tasks related to coordination and organization of project.
- Leads project planning and schedules projects - as per the project objectives as defined by the appropriate team member, while managing dependencies across teams.
- Ensures that project timelines are established through a work plan.
- Creates a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities to complete the project. Identifies the processes required to achieve required timelines and deliverables for each phase of execution.
- Manages project flow from beginning to end according to the work plan.
- Develops forms and set up files to ensure documentation of the project and a schedule for project completion within tight time frames.
- Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards.
- Identifies project tasks and resource requirements.
- Accountable for the efficient and timely management and tracking of all project changes. Implements project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Supports and implement evaluation measures.
- Tracks overall project risks and risk mitigation strategies and assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
- Participates in standardizing best practices for project delivery being the focal point, and ensuring overall project health.

**Accountability #2: Coordination**

Works with multiple internal teams to ensure cross-functional coordination of goals, milestones and activities to ensure the timely completion of all projects and deliverables.
- Plans and coordinates virtual and in-person project team meetings. Prepares meeting documents and reports for project teams.
- Works with vendors to resolve identified issues.
- Constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders: Project status, milestone and deliverable completion.
- Creates project status and communication materials for the project team.
- Prepares and assists with project reporting for funders, partners and stakeholders.

**Skills, Abilities and Qualifications**:

- College or Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination or management.
- Project Management Professional certification (e.g. PMP) is preferred.
- An IT technical background is preferred.
- Project management skills including schedule coordination, communication strategies and facilitation skills, ability to implement new learning to adult learners, and project evaluation upon completion.
- Experience managing infrastructure and technology implementations and upgrades.
- Proficient in MS office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and Microsoft Project.
- Proven experience with collaborative development with numerous partners, both internal and external.
- Excellent communication and team building skills.
- Proficient in using project management techniques.
- Knowledge and experience working in Healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated leadership with superior problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and strong team building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all staff.
- Demonstrated skill in coordinating various project timelines.
- Multidisciplinary project coordination/management experience would be an asset.
- English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading and writing. Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.

**Salary Range**:
