Working closely with the Service Manager, the Service Writer will interact with customers and dealer network to provide information in response to inquiries on parts, products, and services. In addition, the Service Writer will assist with and resolve complaints with Service Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
Ø The Service Writer is responsible for creating and managing work orders with company business software.

Ø Ensures smart and efficient booking and scheduling all in-bound work.

Ø Responsible for tracking maintenance intervals on in-house fleet assets to ensure that equipment functions properly when required. This includes inspection and maintenance of vehicles, inspections of tools, inspection of load banks and cables, near miss collection, incident report collection, and other management record keeping and maintenance scheduling.

Ø Compile quotes for both internal fleet repairs and external customer repairs.

Ø The Service Writer is responsible for the follow-up calls with customers to ensure proper satisfaction with Sansom service work and to book the next call with the customer.

Ø Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns efficiently and professionally

Ø Working with the Service Manager ,to prepare customer invoicing and annual contract service and billing.

Ø Data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer problems.

Ø Working in a fast paced, but meticulous task environment. Attention to detail is a must

Ø Managing the relationships of a large portfolio of existing clientele within a territory

**Other Requirements**:
Ø Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract

Ø Able to maintain a high-level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability.

Ø Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ø Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
