Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Wine Service and Sales: Greet and serve guests with a thorough knowledge of our wines, provide tastings, and offer wine recommendations.
- Product Knowledge: Learn and communicate the journey of our lavender products from field to bottle, including their uses and benefits.
- Customer Experience: Engage with guests to create a welcoming and informative environment, answer questions, and provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Sales and Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and using POS systems.
- Manage your own cash float.
- Event Support: Assist with special events, including setting up, serving, and cleaning up.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock inventory, ensuring displays are tidy and well-presented.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous experience in a winery, tasting room, or retail environment is preferred.

- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of wine service and sales; knowledge of lavender products is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work daily shifts from 11 am - 5 pm and special event hours from 5 pm - 10 pm.
- Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $16.55-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
