Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and youth? Join our passionate team in Edmonton as a dedicated **Scheduling Coordinator** In this fast-paced, rewarding role, you’ll manage our scheduling platform on WellSky, and oversee the master rotation schedule for all our programs. Through the efficient utilization of our workforce, you will align client needs with frontline staff availability and assist with daily scheduling of staff across our company.

**Hours of Work**:

- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Wednesday to Sunday
- On-call rotation required sometimes

**Your Day to Day**:

- Create and maintain accurate schedules based on care plans and workforce availability
- Serve as the main point of contact for frontline staff regarding work schedules
- Address and resolve scheduling issues, escalating as necessary
- Manage and maintain the master schedule in WellSky, ensuring timely coverage and effective workforce utilization
- Monitor shift changes, sick calls, and time-off requests, documenting the reasons for changes
- Resolve scheduling issues and provide training on the WellSky platform
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (Service Delivery, People and Culture, Finance) to ensure client needs are met
- Track attendance and ensure staff adhere to standard operating procedures
- Assist with payroll inquiries, ensuring accuracy in billing and payment for frontline staff
- Provide regular updates to the Scheduling Supervisor, maintaining clear communication and supporting program operations

**What You Bring**:

- Minimum 3 years of proven scheduling experience in human services, healthcare, or residential care
- Degree or Diploma in Operations Management, Business, Office Administration or Human Resources
- Exceptional time management and ability to handle stress
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in English
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WellSky scheduling software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- A team player who can also work independently
- Compassionate, empathetic, and able to build trust in the workplace
- Clear Child Intervention Record check completed within the last 6 months
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
