We’re looking for a dynamic Front Supervisor who embodies awesomeness and knows how to lead by example. You bring a strong background in bakery operations, leadership and a passion for natural wellness to the team.

Our dynamic and talented Front Supervisor leverage their leadership skills, retail sales background and passion for natural wellness to support their Store Management Team in leading the store sales team to exceed sales goals, create awesome Community Member experiences and represent the Healthy Planet Stores with pride.

**Job Duties**
- Leading and managing the day-to-day bakery production operations
- Ensuring that the bakery is adequately stocked with quality baking ingredients and supplies
- Ensure freshness of all bakery items and food in a bakery
- Ensure that nutritional values are not lost in baking, processing or cooking items
- Ensure deliciousness in baked items to attract customers
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery premises
- Ensuring that baking tools, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Inspecting bakery items to ensure that established standards on quality, uniformity, and aesthetic appeal are met
- Ensure compliance of all food processing laws and regulations
- Adherence to the brand identity
- Coordinate with stores manager and other bakery staff in serving customers
- Developing and implementing advertising and marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Strategically arranging bakery items in display cases to encourage customer purchases
- Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.
- Help identify staffing needs, staff planning, and schedule development based on work demands
- Creating suitable work schedules for staff members
- Appraising staff performance and carrying out the necessary disciplinary measures to address poor performance
- Training staff to produce high-quality bakery items while following proper food handling procedures
- Serving as a coach, leader and mentor to all staff members
- Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding Customer expectations and leading by example
- Lead with high energy, positivity and represent Healthy Planet Store with pride
- Motivate and inspire Team Members to exceed daily/monthly/quarterly sales goals.
- Contribute to crushing team goals
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements & Must Haves**
- Degree in culinary arts or baking and pastry arts is advantageous.
- Proven experience managing a bakery in a retail-based environment
- Ability to positively affect bakery sales and profits
- A food handler's license.
- Sound knowledge of different baking techniques.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
