This position reports to the President. The IT Manager will oversee the ISO 27001 program, collaborating with and overseeing external consultants in areas such as desktop support, network and infrastructure support, on-site servers and cloud services. This is a hands-on IT role that requires leadership capabilities, as well as a willingness to get your hands dirty and work with users pre and post implementation.

**Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Maintain the company’s ISO 27001
- Manage and mitigate risk in collaboration with the CEO
- Keep the infrastructure current with a focus on security and reliability
- Conduct vulnerability testing
- Manage the VOIP phone network
- Oversee the deployment and operations of Windows and Unix servers
- Install and maintain virtual machines in VMware
- Plan and execute strategic IT projects
- Oversee backups and effective disaster recovery plans
- Advise on software licenses, hardware leases and purchases
- Participate in defining and modeling business processes and workflows, and articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical staff
- Enforce company IT and security policies and procedures
- Update Business and Software Requirements Specifications
- Develop instructional documents and conduct training for internal users
- Manage & report on the IT Budget, including forecast costs, equipment and personnel needs for projects and programs as required and related to IT operations
- Establish and continuously improve processes and standards to maintain efficient and scalable IT operations
- Oversee local area network, including network security, fiber connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, and all network administration requirements
- Acknowledge and respond to all assigned service tickets and close them upon resolution
- Respond to users’ needs and queries about network resources access
- Establish network users, user environments, directories, and security for newly installed networks and maintain active directory infrastructure
- Monitor alerts from the remote monitoring and management system and respond to them accordingly through service tickets
- Assist with technical aspects for project proposals

**Qualifications**:

- Degree, Diploma or Certificate in information systems, network engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of IT Engineering/Operations experience
- Proficiency in system administration (Windows, Linux, various cloud services), including analysis, implementation, and evaluation of technology infrastructure and systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience engaging with vendors and outside contractors to meet organizational objectives
- Proven track record of initiating and completing significant IT projects
- Knowledge of Office 365
- Ability to work independently and manage projects/priorities as necessary
- Ability to produce Flowcharts, Diagrams, and Use-cases
- Experience in business process analysis and strategic planning
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Team player and self-starter
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
