Our St. John’s office has openings for a Site Representative to join their team on a contractual basis. The position would start May 2024, with an end date of December 2024 depending on the project and contractors’ construction schedule/season.

**Duties**:

- Communicate with RVA’s Project Manager, Contract Administrator, and the contractor’s site representatives.
- Set up and facilitate project meetings.
- Prepare meeting notes and project memorandums.
- Review and process contract extra work claims.
- Prepare and process monthly progress estimates.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and the public as required.
- Undertake full time site inspection duties (ie. Daily reports, weekly reports, site photos, as-builts, etc.).
- Adhere to all site safety requirements and regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Civil Tech. diploma or an undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience working with sewage treatment facilities, pumping stations, and/or water and sewer infrastructure is a strong asset.
- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Must possess own vehicle for transportation between office and assigned worksite.
- Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Familiar with the City of St. John’s Specifications Book.
- Familiar with the Municipal Infrastructure Division Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Municipal Water, Sewer and Roads Master Construction Specifications.
