Both a strategic thinker and a results-oriented team player, you welcome the opportunity to support the strategic planning process and translate it into actionable, quantitative plans in the role of **Management Consultant.**

Proactive and ready to take the lead on multiple initiatives, while delivering quality deliverables, you’ll contribute to the success of the City and the Division by providing value-added consulting services and support to senior leadership and technology delivery teams - from strategy development through to planning, implementation, reporting, change management and compliance. Working in a multi-stakeholder environment that includes staff from other divisions, you’ll focus on building resilient processes and delivery mechanisms to enable the Division to adopt new changes.

**THE ROLES**

As a client-driven **Management Consultant**, you’ll be expected to support a portfolio of diverse City programs and initiatives to achieve strategic objectives and compliance requirements, implement detailed plans and recommend policies and procedures to improve Division performance, technology delivery and public interest outcomes.

Adept at management consulting, strategic planning or business analysis, you’ll provide policy analysis, formulation, coordination and advice to managers and teams on programs, services and the organization at both a strategic and operational level, as well as provide innovative, resourceful solutions and identify approaches, concepts and methods of analyzing complex, and sometimes competing, planning issues. This will see you fostering and maintaining cooperative working relationships within, and external to, the organization, and establishing and maintaining contact with professionals in related fields to ensure skills, knowledge and practice are current. You'll also research, review, and report on existing and new technology management tools and methodologies, and advise managers on emerging management techniques and other applied concepts and their applicability to the Division.
