We are seeking an experienced leader to join our global consulting firm as a key client-facing Partner, Capital Project Delivery, Impact Assessment - Mining Sector in Canada.
About the Role:This is a Partner-level opportunity for a Principal/Director/VP-level professional looking to further their career with an equity stake in a global environmental/social company that leads the field of sustainability consulting.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with other ERM Partners, our Client Account Directors and Managers to actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with mining clients aligned with ERM's global strategy.
- Develop new and expand existing client relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service.
- Manage business opportunities and use technical expertise to develop proposals, including written content, pricing, presentations, and contracting.
- Contribute to leadership and management of project execution activities in support of ERM clients' mining and other major capital projects.
- Lead consulting engagements in the areas of impact assessment, technical discipline-specific consulting and/or permitting and compliance.
- Build, grow and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants.
- Support the growth and development of ERM's global Impact Assessment & Planning service area and actively collaborate with colleagues across the globe.
- 15+ years of demonstrated experience with capital project delivery, impact assessment and/or permitting, working substantially with the mining sector in Canada.
- In-depth understanding of the mining industry, including juniors, mid-tier and major miners and existing industry relationships that can be leveraged into new business.
- Demonstrated experience working with federal and provincial legislation and policies that apply to mine project development and permitting in Canada.
- Business acumen to understand risks and challenges and to recognize opportunities to provide enterprise-wide solutions for clients.
- Demonstrable track record in delivering multi-million-dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning and delivering large and strategic projects to successful regulatory outcomes.
- Bilingualism (French, Spanish, other) is a strong asset.
