**About us**

PSquare Engineering and Construction Ltd provides structural engineering, code consulting, and construction project management services with a variety of interesting projects across the Lower Mainland. We are a small, dynamic and growing company.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team and assist in the successful execution of our upcoming townhouse development projects in Vancouver area. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing various aspects of the project, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and reporting.

**Main Purpose & Function**
- Plan and manage the construction process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and construction plans.
- Supervise and manage on-site staff and subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standard.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project goals are met.
- Manage project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project closeout reports.
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Prepare and management of project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and providing financial reports to stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed to mitigate potential impacts.
- Tender all aspects of the project and prepare trade contracts
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and other project-related documents.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors, to ensure clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Coordination of inspections and quality control activities to ensure project quality standards are met.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in construction workeragement, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Canada as a Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction project management principles, practices, and processes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey information and to explain design issues and principles.
- Class 5 driver license.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
