**The role in a nutshell**

Based at our Toronto office, the Commercial Operations Associate will use their skills to efficiently complete a range of tasks to support the physical purchases and delivery of our products - primarily Recycling materials containing Copper and precious metals.

**More specifically, you will be expected to**:

- Be responsible for the administration of purchase contracts including shipment documentation, logistics planning, material pricing and related activities;
- Maintain accurate file tracking in proprietary systems including entries on shipment details, contractual terms, pricing and hedging;
- Ensure that all documents comply with the company’s internal guidelines;
- Regular reporting on shipment status, customer issues, inventories and product quality to Commercial / Trading teams;
- Monitor contract documentation, including co-managing contractual amendments and addendums;
- Collaborate with worldwide offices on Chartering, Insurance, Finance, Legal, Customs and Compliance related matters.

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Post-secondary studies in Mining, Administration, Commerce, Logistics, Economics or another relevant field combined with 1-2 years of experience (ideally with an exposure to logistics, customs and/or commodities);
- Good knowledge of the MS Suite and comfortable working in excel with pivot tables;
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail and effective communication skills;
- Team player, eager to learn and have a flexible approach;
- Resourceful, self-starter, energetic and a positive attitude.

**Language**:English (verbal and written). Knowledge of French is an asset.
