**Role**
This Union position, reporting to the Planning and Project Manager, elicits information and analyzes business needs, develops and refines processes to meet the Library’s business and information needs more effectively and efficiently. Supports change initiatives by redesigning processes in consultation with users, develops strategies, makes recommendations for improvements and assists in implementation.
The Business Analyst plays an integral role in supporting the success of both customer service and technical support within the organization by ensuring the Library understands business requirements. As well, coordinates assigned projects to successful completion, by ensuring project deliverables are met according to specifications.
- Post-Secondary two-year diploma in the field of information systems or business analysis and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience in business analysis and process redesign.
- or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Related experience includes**:
- Demonstrated project management experience including operation of project management software skills,
- Experience working with accepted IT standards, including, but not limited to ITIL, COBIT, ISO 17779
**Details**
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Evening and weekend work may be required.
- Annual salary range of $80,665.00 to $83,715 and a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental benefits and a defined-benefit pension plan.
