Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team in Toronto. As an IT Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization's information systems and data from potential threats. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement security measures to safeguard computer systems, networks, and data
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or unauthorized access
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices
- Provide guidance and support to end-users on security-related matters

**Skills**:To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration tasks
- Strong knowledge of MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) for efficient data transfer across networks
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its security implications
- Experience using tools like Fiddler for network traffic analysis and debugging
- Ability to conduct vulnerability research and identify potential security risks
- Knowledge of iOS, UNIX, and MacOS operating systems
- Understanding of LAN (Local Area Network) architecture and protocols
