**Role Summary**:
Ensure accurate perpetual inventories by cycle counting and problem solving our inventory variances within the CMS system.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with developing cycle count plans and continuous improvement suggestions which improve inventory accuracy.
- Participate in the plant wide year end physical inventory.
- Perform cycle counts accurately and efficiently and verify inventory accuracy of CMS system.
- Investigate and analyze variances in perpetual inventory.
- Participate in cross-functional investigations and meetings to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Audit signage/labeling accuracy to PFEP and report discrepancies.
- Audit stock locations for FIFO adherance in accordance with Mafact requirements.
- Min/Max analysis and right sizing to operational min quantities on hand and CMS levels and PFEP.
- Supports the modifications to plant floor and marketplace footprints/master layout (integration with Materials Team).
- Ensure inventory accuracy on all required locations in the ERP system.
- Investigate material line shortage (“Red or Yellow Trucks”).
- Assist with cycle count adjustments in the CMS system as directed.
- Prepare inventory variance forms & reports with analysis included.
- Audit production and scrap reports for accuracy and validating the entries into the ERP system.
- Operate forklift and reach truck equipment as needed to validate inventory.
- Conduct all activities in a safe manner.
- Establishes and maintains effective communications with all departments.
- Performs other duties as required.

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Post secondary education or equivalent work experience
- CMS with minimum 2 years experience as an Inventory Analyst
- Automotive manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques
- Communication skills to articulate problem areas and escalate to resolve issues with urgency
- Problem solving skills such as 8D, 5 Why, Parrado analysis would be a definite asset
- Education and experience that support Inventory Control techniques
