**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the CMLU GSM Project Manager, the Project Management Specialist will assist in coordinating the induction of parts identified as Government Supplied Material (GSM) required for the Cormorant Mid Life Update (CMLU) program. This role will provide overall support to the GSM program to ensure GSM is delivered to CMLU on time as well as balancing requirements of the In-Service Support Contract (ISSC).

**What You Will Do**:

- Provide general support to the GSM Project Manager for all aspects of the GSM program
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the PM and project team
- Scheduling of the removal of components from the ISS activities to allow on-time delivery of parts to the CMLU build line
- Investigate and maintain action items as required to monitor and address issues and risks to the project.
- Manage project priorities in concert with the PM to meet contractual requirements.
- Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of fulfilling the job duties, including receiving and routing communications appropriately, and attending customer and vendor meetings as required
- Coordinate with ISS material department for issuing and tracking of purchase orders relating to the GSM program
- Coordinate with the Life Cycle Material Specialists for induction and control of repairable components to be used as GSM
- Performance Management - ensure suppliers and supporting departments carry out work on time and on budget
- Other duties as assigned

**What You Will Bring**:

- College Diploma in business or aviation related studies, or equivalent in training and experience.
- Ability to problem solve and resolve customer issues in a responsive manner
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Experience in working in, and achieving results in a matrix environment
- Experience working in the aerospace industry with a sound knowledge of airworthiness programs
- Ability to manage and forecast financial requirements
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management
- Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
