**What you will do**:

- Develop strategy and negotiate all renewals of existing MD subleases and HSSA’s, with a sound knowledge of the market and corresponding rates.
- Present recommendations to the Real Estate Committee (REC) on a monthly basis for deal approvals.
- Compile and analyze script capture, opportunities and changes that may impact Rexall.
- Collaborate with Primary Care Partnerships, Market Development and Finance to analyze deal feasibility, enhanced MD relationships and opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate amending agreements working with legal and other internal stakeholders where needed.
- Assist with compiling and analyzing information for other presentations as required.
- Negotiate store renewals and other contract renewals working with landlords, brokers, internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance and Legal, on an as-needed basis.
- Populate and update the database with rent comparables, doctor, nursing home, and hospital information, with a detailed understanding of said information and how it may impact Rexall.
- Review project proformas and understand the business impacts to strategically agree on or implement renewal terms.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all landlords, brokers and physicians within the network to better demonstrate Rexall’s position in the market and industry.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC.

**How you will succeed**:

- University degree in Real Estate, Retail Geography or Urban Planning.
- 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in commercial real estate
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications-Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of and aptitude for retail business.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task, balance and prioritize various requests.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
