The Corix team has an opportunity for a **Project Coordinator in based Vancouver, BC **. This position supports the delivery of projects of varying size and complexity, primarily related to district energy utilities (DEU). The role will be responsible for coordinating, organizing, and controlling project activities under the direction of the Senior Project Manager.

**What you'll do**

Major Accountabilities
- Provide support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle. From planning, concept development, engineering and design, procurement, construction and execution, and commissioning.
- Manage the procurement process for inventory, consultants and contractors
- Manage project documentation, including filing, processing invoices and change orders, financial reporting and purchase requisitions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

General Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation and review of documents including legal documents, request for proposals (RFPs), request for tenders (RFTs), purchase orders (POs), Letters of Intent, bid evaluations, contracts, quotes, bids, and notifications to bidders, ensuring document management processes are adhered to
- Provide support to project team, attending meetings and distributing minutes to all project team members, preparing invoices and purchase requisitions, assisting with preparation of budgets, schedules and reports, and ensuring all required project close-out documents are obtained for review by appropriate parties
- Communicate relevant project information to the client and project team, ensuring clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner and ensuring completeness of the Energy Services Agreement by communicating Corix’s requirements to developers and ensuring required documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Coordinate the shop drawing process, ensuring timelines are adhered to, assembling required construction drawings for review, and tracking and reporting on progress of design and construction identifying any risks to timelines in a proactive manner.
- Coordinate and process request for information (RFIs), change orders (COs), site instructions (Sis), submittals and other project management and construction documentation.
- Provide support and coordination during construction and execution of projects. Coordinate with project stakeholders such as building development team (developer, developer’s contractors and consultants) and Corix delivery team (Corix’s consultants and contractors).
- Conduct coordination field and site visits and reviews during construction and execution when required.
- Uphold Corix’s high commitment and value for health, safety and environment on projects.
- Review reports from Consultants and Contractors and follows up regarding all action items to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner;
- Assist the project team with commissioning new service connections and their handover to Operations
- Perform other related duties as required

**What you bring**

Experience
- 1 year related experience in engineering or construction environments

Education
- Post-secondary degree in engineering or technical diploma

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in the team and with others and maintain strong working relationships
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and document management skills
- Adaptable, able to multi-task and prioritize tasks
