Digital Print and Graphic Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Graphic Shop Manager is responsible for day-to-day production within the print department. This person will plan, schedule, strategize and oversee all graphic production and installation. They also perform essential functions to ensure overall client satisfaction and quality of service along with establishing and maintaining effective communication with other team members and clients.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Scheduling large format print projects with respect to due date, print time, and equipment availability.
- Coordinating team to prepare projects on schedule for highest efficiency.
- Managing the set up, operation and maintenance of large format printers, and laminators.
- Coordinating RIP files produced from data files using digital print equipment.
- Review all proofs and final product samples produced on digital equipment before releasing to internal or external customers.
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to achieve maximum machine performance based on equipment specifications and acquired knowledge of machine operations.
- Applying/installing vinyl graphics on various materials.
- Will work enthusiastically to meet or exceed all performance goals.
- Manages role with an understanding of changing priorities, sense of urgency, execution of results and support for the team.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Operational skills in Adobe CS6, Photoshop, and RIP Software.
- Ability to review color.
- Read and interpret work orders and production schedules.
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to work with management to achieve company goals.
- Demonstrate willingness to accept direction from supervisors, management, and peers to improve quality and performance.
- Have a passion for excellence and drive for quality in all that the team produces.
- Ability to install adhesive Vinyl graphics
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

**Qualifications**:

- Verbal and written communication in English.
- Knowledge of all facets of print production and installation.
- Previous print and/or Large format printers knowledge/experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in Commercial Art or related field is an asset.
- Relevant management experience working in print production n a high, volume manufacturing environment. (preferred)

**Salary**:

- $20.00-30.00 per hour, based on experience.

**Experience**:

- Working with Vinyl: 1 year (preferred)
- Working with large format printers & laminators: 1 year (preferred)
