As a cost analyst, you will validate cost flows, provide timely performance reporting & insights, and support cost improvement opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of regional oil sands operations, financial cost flows, maintenance, and/or SCM.- A degree in business administration, commerce, engineering, or equivalent work experience- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset, with the proven ability to deal professionally with internal and external partners.- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Suite, and/or Power BI is considered an asset.
**Responsibilities**:
- Dedicated resource for your assigned CFT team - monitoring and reporting on cost flows, sharing financial acumen, understanding of cost drivers, and summarization of meaningful data.- Key resource throughout the month end & budget cycle.- Capture and report on vendor costs and support reconciliation activities.- Maintain and develop relationships with CFTs and other support functions (i.e. SCM, Finance) to ensure seamless business support.
Location and other Key Details:
- You will work out of our Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta.- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
