**HOURS OF WORK: Variable hours - including evenings and weekends. Hours will be based on program**

**registration. All SUB hours will be based on time-off requests and sick coverage.**

**SUMMARY**:West Shore Parks & Recreation is looking for energetic, enthusiastic Sport Program Attendants to
join our team. Under the direction of the Sport and Youth Programmer, Sport Program Attendants are
responsible for: program organization and implementation of a variety of sports programs, for example:
pickleball, basketball, floor hockey and dodgeball. Must ensure facilities are being used appropriately (in
accordance with posted rules and bookings procedures).

**JOB DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.***
- Ability to problem-solve and seek solutions.
- Ability to be imaginative and flexible to ensure all programs run smoothly.
- Ability to follow established safety standards and requirements.
- Excellent customer service, inter-personal, and public relations skills are required.
- Must be physically capable of carrying, assembling, and disassembling pickleball nets.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Current Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification is required.
- Current Criminal Record Check is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to foster an environment that encourages participation.
- Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as independently.
