Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood educator to join our team. As an Early ChildhoodTeducator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. **Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for young children
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and behavior
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns

**Requirements**:

- Montessori an asset
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and educational materials
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with computerized learning tools is a plus
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students, including those with special education requirements

Location:

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
