As a member of _our_ field team you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and technical expertise through the installation, verification, programming, service and inspection of fire alarm systems according to standards and codes. You will also naturally be committed to safety and working in a safe work environment by demonstrating safe work practices.

**Daily Duties and Responsibilities may include**:

- Preparation, assembly, programming set-up and verification of new fire alarm systems
- Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing Fire Alarm systems;
- Cabling for various systems;
- Performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to system following inspection;
- Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536 and S537;
- Experience in programming fire panels;
- Knowledge of various fire systems;
- Use of specialized tools.
- Maintaining stock reequipments in vehicles for successful completion of all types of jobs.
- Completion of daily safety checks and assessments.
- Maintaining assigned vehicles and tools in a satisfactory manner.
- Other duties as assigned by manager

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years experience in Fire Alarm installations;
- Grade 12 Certificate;
- Graduation from a recognized Electronics Program is considered an asset;
- Relevant industry experience is considered an asset;
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends, holidays and emergency situations;
- Ability to travel to other areas of the region when required (not frequent);
- Satisfactory Criminal Background check;
- Valid provincial driver’s license coupled with a satisfactory driving abstract.
