and surrounding areas.

**Job description**

Bogdan’s Tree Services Inc. is looking for a Helper/Junior Arborist for
a full time/seasonal position starting immediately.

Helper/Junior Arborist worker responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean, organized worksite including post-job cleanup;
- Support and assist the arborist with securing line, rigging and equipment operation;
- Pruning, shaping and removal of trees/bushes;
- Climbing trees of all heights;
- Proper maintenance of all related equipment;
- Operate chainsaws, pruning equipment, leaf blowers, chippers, vehicles and other trade tools;
- Know and follow all applicable safety regulations and ISA best practices;
- Provide customers with a high level quality of service;
- Assist crew members with preparing work site and clean-up;
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Enrolment in or completion of ISA certification courses is an asset;
- Chainsaw Operator Certificate;
- Demonstrable chainsaw experience is an asset;
- Rigging knowledge would be an asset;
- Must provide PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and steel-toed work boots;
- Valid Standard First Aid;
- Class 5 driver's license, must provide a clear driver's abstract.

This is an entry level position. Committed, hard-working employees will

**Job Types**: Full-time;

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour depending on qualifications and
experience.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
