**Role Summary**

Event Venue Coordinator/Facilitator is a representative of Three Feathers Terrace. The Venue Facilitator is responsible for managing assigned events proficiently, enthusiastically and with great organization. This person should be outgoing, approachable, friendly and committed to providing superb customer service as well as someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**

The main roll of the Venue Facilitator is ensuring weddings and/or events run smoothly. The duties include, but are not limited too:

- Meeting with clients to go over timeline, wedding details & floor plans
- Creating & customizing event floor plans
- Scheduling appointments such as the final details meeting & Rehearsal times
- Attending & Direct rehearsals
- Accepting & handling of payments
- Coordinating the wedding ceremony, grand entrances & dinner start time
- Liaison between the client & vendors to ensure all the details are communicated
- Working Word & Excel
- Troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise on the event day
- Provide accurate and timely information to all vendors working on each event
- Coordinate with internal staff, clients, vendors, and others to establish needs for events
- Be prepared to give information for post wedding debriefs with owners
- Supply information as to operational challenges to ensure we can continue to give the best experience to our clients
- Take Social Media snippets of the day your assigned on without being intrusive
- Maintain master calendar, including meetings, rehearsals, and site tours
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Event Planning experience with proven success as an event planner or coordinator, and/or in a related field
- Must be available to nights, weekends and/or holidays as required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to quality and creativity.
- Excellent with people and is well spoken with excellent verbal communication
- Must be able to execute all instructions with a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, and efficiency
- Must be flexible in any high stress situation that may arise on event with an ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
- Experience in maintaining and building business relationships
- Ability to handle pressure and make split-second decisions
- May be required to work a rotating schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Smart Serve Certificate an asset
- First Aid Certificate an asset

**Job Type**

Seasonal Part time position with the opportunity for a more permanent position

**Working Environment**
- Inclement weather conditions
- Heavy lifting / squatting, moving
- May have times of Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- May have times of prolonged standing and walking
- 10 hours shifts
- Mostly weekends, with some weekday events

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
