Psychotherapist

Independent Contract in Thunder Bay, Ontario

Farmer's Wellness Initiative

The Opportunity:
Lifeworks, in partnership with Ontario Federation of Agriculture, is seeking registered psychotherapists to help support the mental health needs of our Farmer's in rural Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Our Counsellors:
- Support a network rooted in rural Ontario that understands the unique needs of Farmer's and their families- Provide short to medium term counselling to assigned referrals- Offer support by phone, virtually, or in-person- Focus on increasing access to mental health support for families in farming & agriculture

To Qualify, you will need:
- Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work;- Membership in good-standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)- Valid professional liability insurance- Minimum five (5) years post-graduate counselling experience- Lived experience or are currently based in a farming community

Where permitted by law, LifeWorks employees must be fully immunized to access a LifeWorks office or customer premises.
