**Position Responsibilities**
- Work along side management to efficiently complete work.
- Provide support to successful completion of construction and engineering work
- Proficient knowledge of all heavy **equipment such as earth movers**, **Fine-grade experience with** **bulldozers**, **excavators**, **scrapers, **and other related equipment and attachments
- Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property
- Perform periodical safety, maintenance or servicing checks of equipment
- Ensure and manage machines or equipment in a safe and secure way
- Strong understanding of MOL regulations
- Ability to read and understand site drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of materials and tools utilized in heavy civil construction
- Experience with 3D grading systems an asset
- Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws.
- Complete daily vehicle/equipment inspections

**Applicant Requirements**
- **Must have 2 years of finish grade Dozer and/or Excavator Experience**:

- **Approx. 1000 hours of seat time in heavy equipment.**:

- Possess physical strength to operate heavy and power driven equipment
- Clean license abstract
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Able to handle emergency situations, work pressures and stress

**Working Condition**

Our heavy equipment operators can work irregular or odd hours in outdoor work sites during the peak of construction season. The work hours depend on weather conditions and may include some weekend hours.

Our sector is typically seasonal, however Todd Brothers tries to provide employment year round to all employees by providing snow removal services in the winter, emergency services and other heavy constructions projects that can occur during winter months

**Salary**: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
