**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Special Electronics & Designs Inc._ has been in the business of developing and supplying Communication System Solutions since _1971_.

Special Electronics & Designs Inc. is seeking a permanent full-time _**Quality Assurance Representative**_ to join our team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work within the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
- Assure adherence to established Company Quality Objectives
- Perform Incoming, In-process and Final Inspections
- Work with Production and Engineering Staff to resolve quality concerns
- Identify, record and report quality problems as they occur in a professional manner
- Approve Production Drawings, Inspection & Test Plans, Acceptance Tests, and Procedures
- Recommend Corrective Actions and report on their effectiveness
- Maintain records that relate to the Quality Management System
- Maintain and record calibration of tooling
- Maintain and update the ISO Quality Assurance Program
- Plan and schedule Internal Audits and file Audit Reports
- Provide reports on the status of the Quality Assurance Management System (Management Review) as required
- Work with technical staff to obtain and maintain certifications

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma/Degree in Quality Control, Business Administration or a related field
- 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience
- Full colour recognition ability (i.e., no colour blindness).
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Superior attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Professional interpersonal, oral and written English communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
