**Key Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot, reproduce, document, and resolve issues raised by our customers through our support portal
- Maintaining agreed upon quality-of-service levels for our customers
- Perform routine system checks and maintenance on internal and external customer systems
- Identify opportunities to improve our customer’s systems
- Identify opportunities to improve our products through customer interactions
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Involvement in on-site/virtual customer support activities as requested by the customer
- Ensures internal documentation and training are up to date
- Performs and rectifies system issues through software and configuration updates and fixes
- Potential for travel to Customer Sites as required (Canada & US)

**Required Qualifications**
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in one of the following: software developer, customer support technician, system administrator or related field
- CompTIA Linux+ or other networking related certification
- OOP development experience (C++ and JavaScript).
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

**Nice to have**
- Experience in one of the following industries: Metro Rail (LRTs), Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Electrical, and Water & Wastewater
- Experience designing, configuring, or supporting a SCADA, HMI or DCS system
- Understanding of protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA/DA, SNMP, and others
- Understanding of software and network security
- Experience in software development using
- C#, python, bash, and JAVA
- Sencha EXTJS 4.2, Qt 4+
- MySQL
- RedHat, Windows 10
- VMWare
