**Job Overview**

The Product Analyst I: Specialty Products role provides critical support for the analysis, development, and customer service aspects of the company’s asset backed finance (ABF) portfolio, including ABLoCs, mortgages, and factoring products. This is a fulltime position based at our Calgary, Alberta office. This individual will be reporting to the Credit Manager as part of a collaborative team. Professional growth within the organization will be encouraged.

**Responsibilities**

Data Collection and Analysis Support:

- Assist senior analysts with data gathering and entry for market research, customer trends, and ABF product performance.
- Learn and utilize basic data analysis tools to compile and format data reports for internal stakeholders.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of financial spreadsheets for ABF products.

Customer Service Support:

- Provide initial contact and respond to basic customer inquiries regarding ABF products under close supervision.
- Research and gather information to address customer concerns related to ABF products, escalating complex issues to senior analysts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer contact information within the ABF portfolio.

Product Development Support:

- Assist senior analysts with basic research tasks related to market trends and competitor offerings in the ABF space.
- Compile and organize data for product presentations and reports.
- Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be professional, ambitious, and self-motivated with a high sense of integrity.
- Demonstrates strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and data accuracy, alongside strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Be proficient in quickly learning new software and processes.
- Possess a desire to find solutions that balance customer needs and financial risks.
- Have a natural ability to build authentic customer relationships and interact effectively with a broad spectrum of employees at all levels.

**Required Education and Experience**
- Post-Secondary Degree in relevant field: Business Marketing, Commerce preferred but not required.
- Experience in the Equipment Finance / Leasing Industry preferred
- Competent in the use of MS Office Suite of products, specifically Excel

Pay: $56,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
