Zippin has developed the next generation of checkout-free technology enabling retailers to quickly deploy frictionless shopping in their stores. Zippin’s technology is being used by retailers on four continents to power checkout-free experiences in a wide variety of venues such as stadiums, offices, airports and train stations, convenience stores, hotels, convention centers and residential buildings.

In August of 2021, we closed a $30 million Series B funding round with participation from new and existing investors including OurCrowd, Maven Ventures, Evolv Ventures and SAP. This new round brings Zippin’s total funding to more than $45 million. This round comes on the heels of significant progress we’ve made in recent months, including signing numerous new accounts, launching multiple new public checkout-free stores, and further solidifying their leading technology within the future of retail.

The Zippin BI Team is responsible for pricing and deal desk, tracking OKRs, diagnostic tools for customer support and engineering, visibility for the leadership team, setting and tracking goals for departments, helping to develop external reporting, creating custom reports and exports for customers, and developing new analytical products.

As Zippin rapidly grows, our team needs support from a 2-3 person pod that can help us cover more hours than our US team covers now. This will make our coverage for internal and external customers more comprehensive and help us maintain momentum on larger projects.Once you have some foundation under you, you would help hire an analyst to manage and both of you would work together as a Zippin BI pod.

**Responsibilities**:

- You would start out doing much of the work that you would soon get help with from one or more analysts.
- Troubleshooting, validating, and maintaining existing reports as well as developing new reports.
- Creating new data sets to make reporting more efficient, and collecting and maintaining new data sources.
- You would become an expert in all of our stores and our processes so that you can help to create diagnostic tools and provide better visibility.
- And then you would help screen and hire one or more analysts who you think would best support you.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, social science, or related field
- 5-7 years experience analyzing and reporting on data
- Experience managing a team
- Experience running business and financial reports
- Proficient with Python and Pandas, SQL, and spreadsheets
- Experience troubleshooting, validating, optimizing, documenting, and automating
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively
- Accustomed to providing daily progress report
- Curiosity about data
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills (CTE, stored procedures, optimizing queries, etc.)
- Intermediate to advanced Python and Pandas
- Work efficiently, knowing when to invest time and when to get something done quickly.
- Excellent at taking initiative and prioritizing work
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferred: Management consulting and/or financial services background
- Preferred: Experience working in a tech startup
- Preferred: Experience with Grafana and/or Tableau
- Preferred: Engineering skills in Python/Javascript/C
- Preferred: Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
- Preferred: Experience working with data in Redis
- Preferred: Experience with ETL

This position is remote and may be based in India, Canada, or the US.
