Chief of Development

**A Snapshot of Your Day**

The role encompasses managing your own activities to meet the agreed milestones while working within the integrated product assurance team. It will involve supporting the development specialists, integrated project team leaders (IPTLs) and project managers (PMs) to ensure all solutions have a robust and appropriate verification strategy while also improving the development related processes. This is an opportunity to identify and drive improvement in how the development activities are undertaken from initial concept definition through to successful manufacture and integration of the solution into the completed AGT gas turbine Portfolio.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Own and continuously improve the development and risk management processes and tools
- Accountable for the identification and rectification of systematic issues related to the development skill.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of the verification strategies generated for both gas generator and Power turbine solutions are consistently a high standard.
- Responsible for chairing PDP/PIP reviews and acting as quorum when delegated
- Ensure the management of requirements and technical risk associated with the definition and generation of all technical solutions is relevant, accurate and high quality

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Eligible for OIQ membership
- Recognized ability at working in cross functional / geographical / cultural working environments
- 10+ years previous experience in the risk management, development and verification of gas turbine products
- Ability to quickly understand complex engineering issues and manage technical experts to ensure review/gate requirements are met.
- Enthusiasm to develop new methods and approaches for solution verification and risk management.
- You master the French language
- _This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues._

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
