In your role as the Water Settlement Coordinator at The North West Company (NWC), you will coordinate all aspects of water settlement, including but not limited to Inventory management, internal and external transportation.

**Your Role**:

- Provide direction to assigned employees when it comes to all things water settlement;
- Create and govern report to track and communicate execution of water settlement freight;
- Arrange for shunting of product to and from WLSC, external warehouses, supplier and NWC Motorsports;
- Ensure receiving and shipping processes are followed consistently;
- Maintain accurate records to track freight by location, store and transit type. Validate by completing audits;
- Working within established authorized carrier list and rates, arrange freight moves with carriers and communicate these moves to Transportation Freight Payable team;
- Make adjustments to receiving and shipping schedules, load sequence and staffing as required, keeping manager informed; and,
- Ensure building security, health and safety of all employees and visitors at satellite warehouses.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- General understanding of warehouse functions and experience with road and or air carriers for freight move planning;
- Proficient in leading meetings, and recording meeting minutes;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word;
- Strong leadership skills and conflict resolution skills is an asset;
- Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and assignments;
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers; and,
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
