**Manager, Client Services**

**Full Time Permanent - 35 hours a week**

This is an exciting opportunity to join and contribute to a progressive, innovative management team. CTYS is an accredited Children’s Mental Health Centre with a range of services and programs for youth and families across Toronto. The agency is committed to an inclusive, equity based anti-racist framework embedded as a key value in all we do. As a manager you are the key to support our staff, rich team development and most importantly our clients who present with multiple experiences of intersectional trauma, racism and systemic challenges. These services are client centered and flexible and geared for youth and families with a range of mental health needs who may have difficulty accessing traditional office-based services. Youth and family services are provided in person in the office, virtually, in schools and community settings.

You will provide direct support to talented, passionate, dedicated teams of therapists and counselors (12 FTE), who provide mental health support and psychotherapeutic interventions to youth and caregivers. Community Counselling Programs include, intake/ waitlist management, the Priority Access for Students Program, the Community Outreach Program and the School/Community Group Program.

**Reporting Relationship**: Director, Client Services & Quality Improvement.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct clinical supervision and staff support.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and opportunities for team clinical consultation.
- Support the onboarding, professional development and clinical growth of staff
- Provide accountability processes to ensure staff manage all administrative responsibilities and expectations.
- Support staff in navigating acute and emerging client-related crises as needed.
- Support Anti Oppression, Equity & ABR Management Leadership Initiatives
- Provide advocacy and structural leverage for staff team, around issues of equity and social justice.
- Support and sustain values of social/racial justice as central to the work.
- Provide leadership in maintaining high functioning staff teams and oversee all admin functions pertaining to staff and the programs.
- Sustain and build positive, collaborative working relationships with communities, mental health care providers & crisis services, hospitals and educational settings.
- Ensure clinical services are delivered in a manner consistent with all applicable agency policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
- Participate in the review, development and implementation of new policies, technology, and processes as needed (e.g. for accreditation).
- Champion and support the movement towards and implementation of measurement based care outcome tools and processes.
- Provide clinical and/or administrative coverage for other CTYS programs as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- A graduate degree (or equivalent) in social work or related helping profession required.
- Membership in the appropriate professional regulatory body (RSW/ RP) required.
- Identification with and /or experience supporting BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities is an asset.
- 2 years experience working within the Children’s Mental Health Sector
- 3 years supervisory experience required.
- Management experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated clinical training, knowledge, and experience in supporting therapists to provide trauma informed, individual and family therapeutic interventions including brief models to youth and their caregivers
- Experience navigating, strong understanding of, and comfort navigating and advocating within the child welfare, and education systems.
- Clinical understanding of attachment based therapeutic approaches.
- Experience supervising/implementing psychoeducational & therapeutic groups for youth.
- Demonstrated clinical and administrative supervision and case management skills to ensure effective service delivery by staff.
- Commitment to practice from Anti-Oppression, Equity, ABR and Trauma informed frameworks.
- Commitment to Evidence Informed Practices.
- Proficient in the use of computers and familiarity with client database software.
- Highly organized and detail oriented as well as able to hold ‘the big picture’ in mind.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in French language is an asset.

- Clear vulnerable sector screening required.
