Key Responsibilities:
**Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages an exceptional customer experience.
- Understand customers' needs and preferences, offering relevant advice and product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Provide accurate information about pet products, nutrition, supplements, and training to educate and guide customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
- Promote and sell a wide range of pet products, including food, toys, accessories, and grooming supplies.
- Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store layout, ensuring products are neatly displayed and stocked.
- Stay up-to-date on training and maintain training manual
- Monitor inventory levels

**Social Media and Online Responsibilities**
- Post regularly to Instagram (feed, reels, theads)
- Post regularly to Tik Tok
- Engage with local clients and influencers
- Grow our social following
- Liaise with vendors to obtain photos and permission to share their content on our social platforms
- Upload photos to the website
- Maintain stock and inventory levels

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a pet store or retail industry.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with customers and build lasting relationships.
- Proficiency in using computers, point-of-sale systems, and basic office software.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online retail processes.
- A genuine love for animals and a desire to provide the best possible care for pets.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as required by the store's schedule.
