**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Strategy and Planning**:

- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with NOVEM's business goals.
- Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- **Production and Processing Management**:

- Manage all aspects of production, processing, and manufacturing operations to ensure high-quality output.
- Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- **Supply Chain and Logistics**:

- Oversee supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
- Ensure seamless coordination between supply chain functions to meet operational objectives.
- **Quality Assurance and Compliance**:

- Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- **Cost Management**:

- Develop and manage operational budgets to control costs and optimize expenditures.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- **Leadership and Team Development**:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and open communication within the operations department and across the organization.
- **Technology and Innovation**:

- Leverage technology and innovative practices to enhance operational capabilities and efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to keep NOVEM at the forefront of operational excellence.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior operational leadership roles within the production, processing, or manufacturing sectors, preferably in the agrifood or pharmaceuticals industry.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale operations and driving operational improvements.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production planning, and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Pay: $125,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
