Student Dietary Aide

**Reports to**:Food Service Supervisor and General Manager
**Qualifications**:
- Familiar with HACCP, WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety
- Safe Food Handling Certificate an asset
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Ability to follow through on a job from start to finish, troubleshoot, prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Interested in working with seniors.
*Previous experience in food services - serving/waitressing an asset
- Clear Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Persons Sector Screen (applicable for students age 18+ only)
- Provide clear TB skin test results (Provided on site).
**General Duties**:
- Assist Cook with food plating/wrapping as required
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to residents
- Clear tables, load and operate dishwasher and complete manual washing as require
- Departmental and station cleaning
- Adhere to established policies and procedures
- Must be available to work every other weekend
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
(4 hr shifts ranging from 4pm-8pm)
- Potential for extra hours on weekends
