NATURE DU TRAVAIL

Le poste de conseiller en éducation comprend notamment la responsabilité de conseiller est d'appuyer le personnel des établissements et services d'enseignement dans la mise en œuvre, l'élaboration et l'évaluation des programmes d'études, la gestion de classe et le matériel pédagogique dans le cadre du Plan d'action numérique du ministère de l'Éducation

du Québec.

Elle ou il contribue au dépistage et à la reconnaissance des élèves vivant des difficultés, et ce, dans une optique de prévention et d’intervention; elle ou il planifie et effectue des entrevues et procède à des observations; elle ou il analyse et interprète ces observations et les données recueillies.

Elle ou il participe avec l’équipe multidisciplinaire à l’élaboration et la révision du plan d’intervention de l’élève en y intégrant, s’il y a lieu, son plan d’action; elle ou il participe au choix des objectifs et des moyens d’intervention, comme avoir recours aux arts, à la musique ou à d’autres moyens d’expression, elle ou il collabore avec les autres membres de l’équipe à la concertation et la coordination des interventions et à l’évaluation de l’atteinte des objectifs.

RESPONSABILITÉS et TÂCHES

Le consultant en climat scolaire sera responsable de la détection, de l’identification et de l’évaluation des problèmes ayant une incidence sur le climat scolaire, y compris le comportement socio-émotionnel, l’intimidation, le sentiment d’appartenance et la santé émotionnelle positive.

Ce consultant aidera les administrateurs, les enseignants et les autres professionnels dans la sélection et la mise en œuvre de programmes ayant un impact sur le climat scolaire.

S’assurer que les intervenants des conseils scolaires connaissent les exigences légales de la Loi visant à prévenir l’intimidation et la violence à l’école (projet de loi 56) et appuyer les équipes scolaires dans le respect de ces exigences.

Aider les équipes scolaires à créer leur plan de lutte contre l’intimidation et la violence (ABAV) et leur rapport de fin d’année.

Collaborer avec les professionnels de l’école, le personnel de soutien et les enseignants pour élaborer des mesures préventives qui aideront les élèves à s’autoréguler et aideront le personnel à désamorcer les situations critiques.

Aider le personnel à débriefer les incidents impliquant de la violence ou un conflit et à élaborer des plans de sécurité et d’autres mesures pour éviter que de telles situations ne se reproduisent.

Collabore avec d’autres ressources scolaires, des organisations partenaires et le ministre de l’Éducation.

Assister aux réunions du comité provincial sur le climat scolaire.

Valid driver’s license to travel to all schools to provide support.

Good knowledge of Bill 56 and Bill 9

Experience working with the Indigenous community is an asset.
