Full Job Description
You will perform ad-hoc accounting and supply chain duties as required to support the accounting, administrative, and supply chain team in conjunction with and under the supervision of a manager.
This is a full-time and office-based position in Calgary.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

- Assist your reporting manager with accounting and administrative tasks.
- Follow new customer setup process and maintain the existing ones.
- Invoicing to the customer and maintaining a backup.
- Month-end reconciliation for finalizing sales.
- Follow up with the customer on outstanding invoices
- Coordinating with other teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Expense verification process with SAP Concur.
- Updating customer collections in the Accounting System
- Follow the new vendor setup process and maintain the existing one.
- Follow the purchase order process including updating order tracking.
- Vendor invoice verification and entry into the accounting system.
- Vendor Payments and entry into the accounting system.
- Administrative duties including coordination on Insurance policies, office maintenance, Leases,etc.

Education and Experience
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience would be an asset.
- A diploma or degree would be an asset with a preference for an accounting focus.
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains would be an asset.
- Experience with Open Invoice, and Cortex would be an asset.
- Excellent MS Office Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
- Strong organizational skills, and ability to deal with difficult situations professionally and productively.
- Work well in a team environment
- In addition, the position requires a passion for process simplification and improvement, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be allowed to work in Canada legally.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
