As a Construction Labourer with Benchmark Builders Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects. Under the direction of the Superintendent and Foreman, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assisting with framing, formwork, finishing, concrete cutting and replacement and general construction duties. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to follow all safety guidelines and regulations while on the job.

**Note: Night Shift crews are eligible for a 10% wage premium for overnight shifts.** Your Key Responsibilities**
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades required at construction sites
- Assist tradespersons such as carpenters in construction activities
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications, using appropriate tool.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment
- Perform other activities at construction sites as directed

**Your Qualifications and Experience**
- Understands and adheres to all safety policies and procedures
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a construction labourer
- Own transportation, able to get to and from site
- Ability to multi task with strong attention to detail
- Productive in a team environment
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, push/pull, bend and crouch frequently and work in adverse weather conditions
